LET OUR FAMILY TAKE CARE OF YOURS

Back in 2007 Amanda Coates alongside Sarah her daughter and Amy her sister, created the Town & Country business.

What was a small homecare company has now flourished into a business that also offers a Daycare centre and a respite & recovery centre in the Whitby area

Our Story

Mandy Coates - Manager and Proprietor:

"After many years working within the Care Sector I felt I could provide our community with a higher standard, more client focused care package with a personal touch. In September 2005 I started to research, design and plan the Company that is now Town and Country Care Services.

This Company was designed to enable my staff and I to provide a higher quality Care Service to our local community. I spent the next several months extending my qualifications, completing courses, researching, designing and setting the business up. I invested my time in achieving a higher standard of qualifications and standards because I didn’t just want to provide just any care, I wanted to provide the best care possible for vulnerable people. This creates the circumstances that supports and maintains their unique independence, enabling them to stay in their own homes, retaining their self respect and dignity they wanted and so truly deserved.

In May 2007 I passed the stringent regulations of the Commission for Social Care Inspection, CSCI, and established Town and Country Care Services. I am pleased to say 12 years  later we have expanded rapidly on the foundation of an excellent and growing reputation throughout Whitby and its surrounding areas.

We now proudly employ over 40 members of staff, have opened a day centre for adults and a respite & recovery centre. This would not have been achieved without the support of our local community, clients and work family.

An extra special Thank you goes to my husband Paul for the years of help and support.

D.A.B Building:

All renovations throughout our offices and Respite centre have been completed by Mandys son Daniel.

He is able to assist with most aspects of building work and to a high standard.

Like Mandy, helping the elderly is a big passion of Daniels and he is proud to add his services to the list of ways we can help support our clients.
