How Town & Country Care are taking action against corona virus. Covid-19 is a global pandemic that has affected so many. We at Town & Country Care have made it our main priority to maintain the health and safety of all clients and staff. Please read below about the guidelines and resources that we have put in place. PPE All carers are given disposable aprons, disposable gloves, disposable masks, visors, goggles, 70%+ alcohol hand rub, hand wash & blue roll. Procedures Before entering any clients home, cares will use their alcohol rub to hands and arms (up to the elbow). Then they will apply gloves and aprons. On entering the house carers will wash hands. Carers have a choice of what face protection they would prefer Choice 1: Visors & disposable mask Choice 2: Goggles & disposable mask Once the carer has finished the above tasks then they will proceed with the call. PPE will always be disposed of by the carer and never left at the client’s home. |
